Yeah, I don’t even know. It’s a sameface random generic monster, I guess? Drew this in 30 minutes during my lunch break. Brought to you by pencil, paper, and a glass of water.
Half hour, iPad, Sketchbook Pro app, no references.
Thanks to my mother being an enabler, I picked up the iPad (3rd generation) a few days ago. I immediately downloaded Goodreader (for gaming pdfs) and Sketchbook Pro for iPad.
I decided to try it out during my lunch today (I took an extended lunch break, so I had to use it up somehow!).
I’m pretty sure I’m in “serious like” right now. This proves to me that maybe I should start saving up for a Cintiq or something.
WHAT UP NIGHTWING.
Sorry, I’ll eventually stop doodling comic book heroes… or not. I’ll at least try to draw other things. That counts, right?

I started out with the intention of doodling Hellboy, but it changed into random Sith dude A (not a pureblood Sith, mind you, just a tattooed human Sith type).
Also, long face is long. Dammit.
Lunch break, non-repro blue pencil, mechanical pencil with HB lead, eraser, paper.
#OneADay sketch & art woes. Did this sketch based off of a motorcycle (of course I don’t remember which one, haha) during lunch. You can see that I focused on the details first (see the headlights) and just kept FOCUSING. It hit me at around the 15min mark that I was falling into that trap again. I spent the next 15 minutes drawing the larger shapes first. Lots of construction lines, lots of smudgy pencil :/ This rekindled my internal debate about lightboxes, and if I should buy one or not.
