Progress shot of The Evil Queen in plate armor (so I dunno what she’d be - the Black Knight?). I didn’t want gatomujer to think I forgot! I scrapped the colors completely at least twice before getting back into the groove of things.
Photoshop CS6, Intuos 3, and a few hours of frustration. Fuck me, but I’m rusty.
“Final” inks. I’ll see how I feel about them when I get home.

Damn, I was so looking forward to Andy Diggle’s run. This is like a hybrid of current looking and parts of my redesign from last year. With Man of Steel around the corner, figured I needed to start to pick up the pace with drawing Kal, here.
Now off to draw some Misfit for Misfit Day.
I like this - I can see how it might be a bit finicky to draw every time, but I like how the red breaks up the blue.
I still miss the red underoos though :(
