I normally don’t write about my dreams, but this was too messed up (and too vivid!) to leave alone.

Last night I had a dream about Rizzoli and Isles 2x15, even without seeing the episode.
It turned out that Maura’s mother was actually part of the Wild Hunt, and brought her fellow hunters into our realm when Paddy Doyle was taken down. She wanted to wreak havoc on those who hurt her beloved (and her half-fey daughter), but Maura bargained with the Wild Hunt to keep Dean and Jane safe… in exchange for serving the Wild Hunt for ten years.
The bargain was struck right as Jane showed up to try talking to Maura, and the Wild Hunt vanished - along with Doctor Isles.
Paddy Doyle’s rivals started dropping like flies, but not by ice pick. A lone arrow was found in each corpse.
The last thing I saw before I woke up was Maura Isles in elven armor, with bloody streaks drawn on her face in a pattern, before she slid a helmet on.
Too much high fantasy for this girl, I think.
This happened later in the night.
So Maura is actually a Magical Girl (TM), and Bass is her Magical Animal Guardian/Mentor (TM). The reason she’s driving a Prius in S2 is because she had her other car converted into the Bassmobile (which embarrasses him to no end because, really, how inaccurate, right?).
Jane is completely clueless, despite Maura conveniently “disappearing” during huge monster battles that the BPD can’t handle, and the fact that Magical Girl M fights in crazy tall strappy high heeled shoes and designer capes and whatnot. Bass just shakes his head and tries to hide as best he can in the Bass-O-Mati— er, Bassmobile.
Yep.
Last night I had a dream about Olivia Benson from Law and Order: SVU. She had a new partner (he reminded me of Barry Frost from Rizzoli & Isles, but more serious), and his brother was a drug dealer. So his brother burned down their mother’s apartment (and killed their mother in the process), and Benson’s partner blew up a train to kill his brother in retaliation. Benson then arrested her new partner for murder and some other crazy shit.
HOWEVER, the drug dealing brother wasn’t on the train - he had commandeered Benson’s old home (which apparently was a landing tower for zepplins? My brain is weird), set it up with bombs galore, and taunted her to come find him. She had to run up rickety wooden ramps while being shot at by robot turrets (the police had sent in anti-terrorism bots beforehand, but still), and busted in to some crazy redecorated room (like, with creepy clowns and shit). The brother was sitting at an old school desk, sporting a cybernetic arm, and set the bombs off before Benson could take him out. She ended up using some crazy parkour skills to avoid falling to her death.
Then I woke up.
I haven’t seen an episode of SVU in months, and I only played Portal last night.
Dreams: what is this I don’t even
