Sometimes I think the writers of Rizzoli and Isles should go through a character creation exercise, like the one from Kobold Quarterly, or build a “bible” of traits and facts for each character. It wouldn’t take long, and could potentially solve a lot of issues.
Heck, they could even use this trait bible to help explain inconsistencies between episodes. Like…
“Jane Rizzoli: claims that ballet isn’t a sport, but is actually embarrassed about the time she spent in classes when she was younger.”
I mean, shit, if I can do this in between manuals, they should be able to do this in between seasons.
