It’s amazing how my mood turns when I get crabby/angsty about my personal art. C’mon, feels, get in line. We can mope when we’re home, ‘k?

you know those artists who just have the BEST LINES EVER and they could draw pretty much anything and you can’t see anything wrong with it because THEIR LINES ARE PERFECT
Here’s the twelfth art challenge with @JakeBacon (Todd!) - pretty late this time, featuring…
Bond. James Bond. In a onesie.
…Yeah, I’m just as confused as you are.
The challenge, given to us by our mutual friend, was “James Bond in a onesie.”
What.
I honestly wasn’t feeling this at all, as you can probably tell. I think part of it was just being in a funk when I wasn’t involved in holiday celebrations. I also haven’t had the time/dedication to draw, which I’m working on (again).
This was done in about 40 minutes, including the search time for ref (used a mishmash of James Bond pics, a pic of a girl in a bear onesie, and a pic of a guy in a Batman onesie). Used pencil and paper, and not much else.

Here’s the eleventh art challenge with @JakeBacon (Todd!) - early this time, featuring…
THE LITTER BOX GANG.
The challenge, given to us by our mutual friend, was “deadly as a box of kittens.”
What.
“Street urchins meet kittens” popped in my head almost immediately, so I looked up some pictures of street urchins from Victorian times, and took a quick flip through my Blacksad books for some tips on how to draw anthropomorphic kittens. I hope I didn’t ape that book’s style too much, though.
I also tried my hands again at a background of some sort, too. I didn’t shade it like I wanted because I had a feeling I’d lose the kittens in all the grey I’d be using. Also - that’s a lot of ink!
Did the lay-ins with 2H lead, then drew the final lines with H lead. Inked it with my new Ahab Flex with some Noodler’s Bulletproof Black ink, and colored it with my Copic Neutral Grey Sketch markers.

Here’s the tenth art challenge with @JakeBacon (Todd!) - late again, but not as late as before! (We didn’t get the new challenge till last Wednesday or Thursday, though, so we all got a late start on it).
I have to be honest, I wasn’t feeling this for some reason. I think it was just an off week for me. On the upside, I was able to test out my new Ahab Flex when I inked this, and the Noodler’s Bulletproof black ink seems to work with my Copics so far!
